Notify us of your planned burn – NSW Rural Fire Service

Published

on

Due to the ongoing mild/wet weather conditions, the Bush Fire Danger Period for the Mid North Coast Team will end early.

From Monday 1 March 2021, fire permits will no longer be required for the Coffs Harbour & Bellingen Local Government Areas.

Residents conducting burning activities are still required to provide 24 hours notice to their neighbours and the Rural Fire Service before lighting the fire.

Notification to the Rural Fire Service can be done online at www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/notify, or by phoning the Coffs Harbour Fire Control Centre on 6651 6133 during business hours.
